Well, it's been over three years since I've written a post on my Get Out There blog. Time sure does fly. So much has happened over these three years - good, hard, joyful, heart-breaking. But one thing is certain - it is time to Get Back Out There!
This summer I will be embarking on a dream of mine - backpacking in the Alps! Of course in order to enjoy (read: survive) this adventure, I have some serious training to do over the next four months. This weekend it will be 6 weeks since my surgery in late February - which means I am medically released to get back into serious exercising. The trick will be to not overdue it too soon.
So, starting slowly this weekend, I am going to once again document my hikes with a few words and pictures on this blog because sharing my experiences in this way always adds to the enjoyment. So be sure to watch for a post early next week as I GET BACK OUT THERE!
